HENRIËTTE WAAL
Research Director, Atelier Luma

Designer and researcher Henriette Waal co-initiated Atelier Luma, the research and design laboratory of LUMA Arles (France) with Jan Boelen. Atelier Luma’s multidisciplinary network explores possible scenarios for transforming consumer cultures and existing systems of production.Atelier Luma’s multidisciplinary network explores possible scenarios for transforming consumer cultures and existing systems of production. At Atelier Luma Waal is currently leading a research in Mediterranean wetlands contributing to new transnational ways to organise and make design integrating remote southern european, african and near eastern wetlands communities. Besides her practise Waal has been creating and supervising programmes for the Master Social Design at Design Academy Eindhoven since 2013. The program focuses on new social roles for designers attuned to contemporary ecological and social challenges.

HICHAM BOUZID
Co-founder and Artistic Director Think Tanger

Born in Tangier (Morocco), Hicham Bouzid is a cultural practitioner and a curator. His curatorial practice produces various outputs: exhibitions, seminars, talks & podcasts, open studios, prints and books. He is today the co-founder and artistic director of Think Tanger: an art platform that explores the urban space and social fabric of Tangier, the Tanger Print Club: a studio focusing on printing practices and the editor-in-chief of MAKAN,a magazine about culture and space.

ISABELLE PUJADE LAURAINE
Collector and Founder of the Pujade Lauraine Art Prize

Collector and co-founder of a major initiative to support contemporary artistic creation, developed between France and Italy, the Prix Pujade-Lauraine • Carta Bianca aims to create a dialogue between the world of art and that of health. Former Senior Official at the Ministry of Health, Isabelle Pujade-Lauraine chose in 2017 to devote her skills as a professional coach, specializing in support for the return to professional life of patients who have gone through the ordeal of cancer, activity that she essentially exercises in the National League against Cancer.

NICO ALEXANDROFF
Architect and Designer, Co-founder of AfterBodies—a design-research collective.

Nico Alexandroff is a London-based research-driven architect, spatial designer and a PhD candidate at the RCA. His work explores the entangled relationships between politics, ecology, and earth system science, with a particular focus on how aesthetics can provoke action to combat the climate crisis. His multidisciplinary work takes a range of forms, telling stories through film, exhibitions, writing, and fabrication.

Anissa Touati is a French exhibition maker and an independent curator trained as an archeologist. She has curated or cocurated several exhibitions at international locations. She is the artistic director of the pavilion for a Mediterranean nation of the Biennial of Lagos 2023 (Nigeria) and the guest curator of the Thalie Foundation in Brussels & Arles. She has worked as artistic director of Contemporary Istanbul and associate director of the Chalet Society in Paris. She is a committee member of the MAH Geneva, a member of the acquisition committee of the FRAC Corse, an ambassador to the Basu foundation in India and a jury member of the Pujade-Lauraine Art Prize.
