Helena Papadopoulos is a curator, writer, and the founder of Radio Athènes. She thinks a lot about what her contemporaries make, but is also interested in flashbacks and eclipses, and in approaching exhibitions as unfinished projects in the sense that everything is “to be continued” and take another form: a book, a record, a conversation, a trip, a friendship, another text. She works closely with artists and artists’ estates to create a stage where materials and ideas can perform.
Recent exhibitions at Radio Athènes include Beatrice Bonino: The opposite of low-hanging fruit and HER featuring works by Marysia Paruzel, Josephine Pryde, Marietta Mavrokordatou, Esther Theaker, and George Tourkovasilis (2025).

Helena Papadopoulos est commissaire d’exposition, écrivaine et fondatrice de Radio Athènes. Elle réfléchit beaucoup à ce que produisent ses contemporains, mais s’intéresse aussi aux retours en arrière et aux éclipses, ainsi qu’à la manière d’aborder les expositions comme des projets inachevés — dans le sens où tout est “à suivre” et peut prendre une autre forme : un livre, un disque, une conversation, un voyage, une amitié, un autre texte. Elle collabore étroitement avec des artistes et des ayants droit pour créer une scène où les matériaux et les idées peuvent se mettre en mouvement.
