Spazi e Satelliti

What role do hybrid spaces, project spaces, residencies, and platforms play in the art system? These places perform a crucial function in building the contemporary ecosystem: they open unusual spaces, offer artists places for production and dialogue, activate new curatorial methods, and generate temporary communities for work and exchange. In many cases, they represent the first exhibition context for emerging or experimental practices that rarely find space within institutional circuits or the market. At the center of the discussion is the curatorial and cultural value of these experiences, which often operate with limited resources but a high degree of creative freedom. How do they build networks and collaborations? What relationship do they establish with institutions, galleries, and the market? And above all: how long can they last and under what conditions?
