The framed image of melting ice creams was originally shown during Flo’s exhibition “Endangered Species” (2020), which discussed the role and image of small businesses in contemporary Estonian society.
Affected by the pandemic, many enterprises had to shut down or rethink their business strategies. The artist also reflects on the need to address the limited nature of resources, constantly threatened by overproduction and consumerism, if we intend to prevent the icebergs melting further and stop the alarming 1,5% rate of climate warming.
