The work has a surreal approach to a daily object and practice. Putting a blade in between the teeth is a reference to how people say things without any boundaries, also hurting others. The artist created a strong image with real casts of dentures of old people covered with gold leaves. He used dentures as a lasting DNA source, as if he was an archeologist uncovering human remains of a past civilization. The blade cuts from both sides of the mouth, the giver and the receiver, in different ways.
