A missing nose draws comparisons to ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, lending the work a superficial timelessness. In fact, it was never made to conserve the blooming beauty of the young artist forever. Deliberately filled with plant seeds, it will eventually be subverted and changed. An essential feature of the Flo Kasearu’s House Museum for the past 7 years, where it has been displayed outdoors, the work has also been affected by local weather conditions and vandalism.
