This set of works (2015) consists of several interconnected elements. The video, filmed by a drone, is an aerial recording of two men cutting and folding sections of a rusted tin roof of the artist’s house, as if making a series of paper planes. A folded section of the roof is also shown as a sculpture, and miniature models appear in drawings and mounted in box frames. Are these aircrafts designed for tourist transportation, military weapons, or as vehicles for evacuation? Today, they acquire additional meaning, as planes become a rare sight during lockdowns worldwide.
