For Paris Internationale Milano, Ciaccia Levi will present a solo show by Japan artist Ibuki Inoue (Kanagawa, 2002), marking the artist’s formal début. Inoue’s paintings convey thoughts and visions through a delicate, almost fleeting line. His partially fragmented figures suggest a presence that is at once personal and collective, where fragility becomes a source of quiet intensity.
“I paint trivial incoherent moments that I encounter in my life, and what I was feeling in the moment, that would be forgotten if I didn’t paint them. There are no specific models for the people who appear in my paintings. I try to paint people as vague humans that are also myself, yet nobody at the same time.” - Ibuki Inoue

Ciaccia Levi, Paris-Milan was founded in 2013 by Nerina Ciaccia and Antoine Levi in the Parisian Belleville area. In 2020 the gallery relocated to a new space in the Marais - Arts & Métiers district, and in 2022 they opened a second space in Milan. Since its inception, the gallery has focused on presenting the work of international emergent artists, including Amber Andrews, Alina Chaiderov, Srijon Chowdhury, Romane de Watteville, Leonardo Devito, Kenny Dunkan, Garance Früh, Francesco Gennari, Daniel Jacoby, Piotr Makowski, Chalisée Naamani, Olve Sande, Sean Townley, Zoe Williams, and the Italian historical artists Lisetta Carmi and Nene Martelli.
