Krinzinger

Galerie Krinzinger is an international contemporary art gallery based in Vienna, Austria, presenting an international established and emerging program. Galerie Krinzinger was found in 1971 by Ursula Krinzinger and since 1986 it is located in Vienna’s city center. Today the gallery is run by Ursula Krinzinger and her son Thomas Krinzinger. Initially the gallery was based on Viennese Actionism and international performance and body related art and a very early focus on feminist art. In 2002 Krinzinger Schottenfeld as an experimental exhibition space and as the first of four Artist in Residency locations opened its doors in Vienna. Residencies in Hungary, Sri Lanka, and Croatia have followed. Today the gallery is representing international artists such as Marina Abramović, Atelier van Lieshout, Kader Attia, Angela de la Cruz, Secundino Hernández, Waqas Khan, Maha Malluh, Jonathan Meese, Hans Op de Beeck, Eva Schlegel, Sudarshan Shetty, Daniel Spoerri, Gavin Turk, Erik van Lieshout, Thomas Zipp and many others.
