Founded in 2022 and based in Mexico City, Proyectos Multipropósito began by developing large-scale, artist-led projects in temporary spaces, including unused office buildings transformed into studios and exhibition sites. The gallery initially prioritized projects over representation and has since evolved toward long-term artist support while retaining this flexible, project-driven approach. Its program brings together emerging practices with more established voices and is not defined by a single medium or aesthetic position. The gallery’s curatorial direction remains artist-led with projects that are developed in response to the specific needs and research of each practice.
