Tanger Print Club is a printing studio dedicated to producing visual art. Launched in 2017 and formerly known as Atelier Kissaria, the Tanger Print Club is a laboratory through which artists, artisans, and researchers meet, exchange, and produce new experimental works related to printing practices. Our mission is to promote the emergence of a new visual culture in Morocco through independent printing practices.
To do so, we:

• Offer a series of workshops on screen-printing practice and culture.
• Collaborate and produce established and emergent artists whose work focuses on printing matters.
• Produce high quality, handmade, limited edition of screen prints at an affordable price ranging

FOR PARIS INTERNATIONALE: Tanger Print Club will showcase a selection of screen-printed works and original pieces by artist Rita Alaoui. Their botanical drawings have inspired our printing studio in Tangier since 2018, when we started our first collaboration.

Rita Alaoui is a French-Moroccan artist, born in Rabat in 1972 and has been living in Paris since 2019. She graduated from Parsons School of Design, New York, where she lived until the late 1990s.
Fascinated and amazed by the force of nature, Rita Alaoui directs her approach towards an incessant representation of a dreamlike and sacred nature and places at the center of her work the collection, accumulation, and observation of organic objects that she finds during her wanderings and which she then meticulously organizes in the temple that is her studio.

Tanger Print Club is a project by Think Tanger, a non-profit cultural platform based in Tangier. Each print you acquire helps sustain our cultural outreach programs and support the creative community around us !!
